Description
Group Communication creates a shared space per class or section where teachers, school administrators, and parents can communicate directly — combining announcements, activity sharing, and two-way messaging in one place, instead of relying on third-party apps.
Features
| Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Parent–Teacher Groups | Create communication groups for each class or section, including teachers and parents. |
| Activity Sharing | Teachers and school administrators can share class activities, announcements, notices, homework, event updates, and photos with the entire group. |
| Image Sharing | Easily share images of classroom activities, events, and important moments with parents. |
| Two-Way Communication | Parents can post messages to the group; the message is visible to every teacher and admin in that class/section group, and any of them can reply. This is a group channel, not a private line to one individual teacher — a parent can't use it to single out a specific teacher for a private conversation about their own child. Use Individual Communication for that. |
| Parent Privacy | Messages posted by an individual parent are visible only to the school (teachers and administrators). Other parents cannot see those messages. |
| School Announcements | Messages, notices, and images posted by teachers or school administrators are visible to all members of the group. |
| Secure Communication | Ensures a safe and private communication environment while maintaining transparency for official school updates. |
Benefits
- Strengthens communication between schools and parents.
- Keeps parents informed about classroom activities and important announcements.
- Protects parent privacy by preventing parent-to-parent message visibility.
- Enables teachers to respond to parents efficiently while keeping official communication centralized.
- Reduces dependence on third-party messaging applications for school communication.
Note
Group Communication is for class/section-wide activity sharing and announcements — not private, per-child conversations. Parent-to-parent messages are never visible to other parents; only the posting parent and school staff (teachers/admins) can see them. Teacher and admin posts are visible to the whole group. For a private conversation with a specific teacher about an individual child, use Individual Communication.
